About Core Image Production Company
Core Image Production is established by the Golden Horse International Film Festival Chinese new beat nominee director Alice Wang in Taipei Taiwan, 1999. The first film “The Egg” is invited to participate Hawaii International Film Festival, San Francisco Film Festival and other film festivals in Europe and the U.S... The critics and box office has won a great repetition.
In year 2003, Alice’s first acting and directing film “Love me, if you can” is nominated for the best actress and best new actress award in Golden Horse Film Festival, best picture in Taipei film festival, competition section of Freiburg International Film Festival in Switzerland. Core Image Production is called a new Taiwan cinema force in year 2004 because the new commercial art film production line is set up. Core will produce 6 new films in 2004 and 10 new films in 2005.
Director Alice Wang is one of the most productive executive producer, creative director and active actress in Taiwan. She has moved her step in China, Hong Kong, and Pan Asia market. Furthermore, she will produce some English films to join the international film market. Core will work hard to make a new image for Taiwan films in the world cinema industry.
